MICHELLE FOSTER, Owner of Inspiring U

As of October 1, 2026, Michelle Foster will become the new owner of Inspiring U. For a decade, Beth Gabel has built an incredible community of crafters and creators in her space on West Main Street in Westerville. Michelle is honored to continue that tradition of gathering, creating and empowering alongside this wonderful community.

Westerville has always been home for Michelle. She grew up here, attended Otterbein University (back when it was still Otterbein College!), and now lives in the community with her husband and three children. Owning and operating a business in Westerville fulfills a lifelong dream.

Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Otterbein University and has spent much of her professional career in accounting and finance. One of the greatest privileges of Michelle’s life was spending ten years at home raising her children. She feels very blessed that she was able to return to her career and now pursue her dream of business ownership.

Owning a business has been a lifelong goal of Michelle’s and one of the reasons she chose a career in accounting. She feels incredibly blessed that Inspiring U is the next chapter in her journey. Her vision to continue making Inspiring U a fun, welcoming place where everyone who walks through the door feels a sense of community and grows in their creative learning.

Our talented instructors offer a wide variety of classes for all skill levels. Whatever your creative interests may be, we have a class for you! And if we don’t … let us know and we’d love to design one!
